VR Clinical Simulation for Nursing Education: Free Early Access
VR Clinical Simulation for Nursing Education: Free Early Access

SMART-LE VR is now accepting Early Access applications from nursing schools nationwide.
Built by a nurse and designed for nursing education, SMART-LE VR brings clinical simulation into a VR headset, giving students a more immersive and interactive way to practice patient assessment, clinical judgment, and decision-making. The goal is simple: help nursing programs expand simulation access without the usual barriers of space, equipment, or significant budget.
The SMART-LE VR Early Access program includes:
Free full platform access for the Fall 2026
Phone and online support weekdays from 9am to 5pm, ET
Monthly cohort webinars with the pilot network
Participation in product feedback surveys
Institution-provided Meta Quest brand headsets
SMART-LE VR was founded by Kim Vergottini, a former Cleveland Clinic nurse educator and XR developer who created the platform based on firsthand experience in clinical care and simulation. Her background shaped a solution built to support the realities nursing programs face every day.
If your institution is looking for a flexible way to strengthen simulation and explore a new model for clinical education, we invite you to learn more about the Early Access program.
